First off, we tested the sharpness of each kitchen shears. In order to see how the sharpness changes depending on the ingredients, we tested the following three foods with different shapes and hardnesses.
We had our testers use the shears to test for three factors: how much effort was needed to cut the food, the sharpness and precision of the cuts made, and how versatile the shears were. The cuts made for each ingredient were then evaluated on a 5-point scale.
Our next test was the usability test, in which we tested the shears for grip and comfort.
