Top 10 Pink Skincare Products That Really Work

Top 10 Pink Skincare Products That Really Work

Lana (also known as @lovelana.xo on Instagram) is a huge fan of pink. She incorporates it in all facets of her life, including skincare. We're also fans of pink, so that's why we had to know whether these pink skincare products actually worked. Here's what she had to say:

"There are lots of beautiful skincare and beauty products out there in the world, but sometimes, unfortunately, the packaging does not match the quality of the product inside. Having a skincare line up that is satisfying to the eye can really enhance your overall skincare experience.

For example, having a shelf of pretty pink bottles, jars, and more to open every night can help you look forward to doing your skincare routine even more! The products I am sharing today are all adorably pink and really work! These products are also very gentle and friendly to all skin types."

  • Good Molecules
    Instant Cleansing Balm

    Lana

Good Molecules Cleansing Balm is perfect for gently and effectively removing makeup. It is formulated with sea buckthorn oil, camellia oil, shea butter, and many more fab skin-nourishing ingredients.

It is also artificial fragrance-free, which is great for people with sensitive skin like myself. You can use it to remove any makeup, left-over sunscreen, or dirt that has accumulated throughout the day on your skin.

I love that this cleansing balm is strong enough to dissolve all your makeup yet gentle enough that it doesn’t leave your skin feeling stripped of moisture after use. This cleanser is also a great and affordable option! It retails for only $15.00 on Beautylish.
  • Glossier
    Milky Oil Waterproof Makeup Remover

    Lana

Glossier Milky Oil is my favorite waterproof eye makeup remover that I have tried so far. I’m somebody who loves to play around with different heavy eye makeup looks and sometimes plain eye makeup remover just doesn’t cut it.

The way I test out if an eye makeup remover is any good is by putting it against the “Heroine Make Long and Curl Mascara”, a.k.a. one of the most stubborn waterproof mascaras that exists (it seriously has a life of its own!)

It's an incredible product and holds a curl like no other, but because it's so waterproof, it needs a super strong eye makeup remover to get it off.

That’s where Milky Oil comes in for me! Milky Oil is made up of a blend of Micellar water and weightless oil that gently melts away any kind of waterproof or long-wearing eye makeup.
  • Kylie Skin
    Vitamin C Serum

    Lana

Kylie Skin Vitamin C Serum makes my skin look and feel smoother and brighter. It evens out your skin tone and leaves your face feeling super soft.

I usually use one pump of the serum in the morning, one at night, and sometimes I even use it in combination with my daily moisturizer to prep and hydrate my skin for any makeup.

The vitamin C serums star ingredients are, of course, vitamin C and also camellia oleifera leaf, which is a great anti-oxidant. The serum is also artificial fragrance-free!
  • Boscia
    Rosewater Mist with Witch Hazel

    Lana

Boscia Rosewater Mist with Witch Hazel is a wonderful multi-purpose product. You can use it throughout the day as a refreshing skin pick-me-up; before makeup to prep and prime your skin; after makeup to prevent cakiness and leave your skin looking supple and smooth; or as a hydrating toner in your skincare routine.

The reason I chose this Rosewater mist out of all the rosewaters out there is because it is completely free of alcohol, artificial fragrance and artificial color - the three things that I prefer to avoid in facial mists.
  • Saturday Skin
    Featherweight Daily Moisturizing Cream

    Lana

Saturday Skin Featherweight Daily Moisturizing Cream is one of my all-time favorite moisturizers. I love it because it has a lightweight, non-greasy feel on the skin yet keeps your face feeling soft and hydrated all day long.

It is a great option for sensitive skin as it contains no synthetic fragrance, synthetic color, parabens or sulfates in its formula. This product is described as a daily moisturizer; however, I personally find it hydrating enough to be used day or night.

Another one of my favorite ways to use this product is underneath my makeup for an extra dewy base.
  • Glossier
Bubblewrap Eye + Lip Plumping Cream

    Lana

Glossier Bubble Wrap Eye + Lip Cream is one of the coolest dual products I own. This eye cream was designed to perfectly suit the two most delicate areas of your face: the eye area and the lip area.

This eye cream checks all of the boxes for being perfect for sensitive skin. It is totally hydrating yet has a weightless feel.

Another thing I love about this product is the packaging – it comes in an aluminum tube and has a practical pump that dispenses just the right amount of product. I also find because the packaging has a metal feel that the eye cream feels lovely and cooling when applied.
  • Kylie Skin
    Hydrating Face Mask

    Lana

Kylie Skin Hydrating Face Mask is a thick and rich mask. I love the luxurious feel this mask gives to the skin.

The formula is packed with vitamins and antioxidants. It features shea butter, niacinamide glycerin, essential ceramides, vitamin E, and many more nourishing ingredients.

My favorite time to use the Kylie Skin Hydrating Face Mask is at the very end of my skincare routine, right before bed, especially if I have an important or special occasion the next day so that I wake up with glowing and hydrated skin.
  • Mario Badescu
    Drying Lotion

    Lana

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion is a highly effective overnight spot treatment. I first learned about this product through Kylie Jenner’s Snapchat story a few years back and I was immediately curious to try it out. It is a favorite among celebrities and for good reason.

It is formulated with salicylic acid, sulfur, and calamine which work together to draw out impurities from the skin and dramatically reduce breakouts while you sleep.

One thing I’d advise when applying this product is to not shake the bottle. For the formula to work effectively, the pink sediment at the bottom needs to stay separated from the clear liquid on top. I’d recommend storing the bottle on a shelf or flat surface as opposed to inside a cosmetic bag or lying down in a drawer.
  • I Dew Care.
Plush Party Buttery Vitamin C Lip Mask

    Lana

I Dew Care. Plush Party Buttery Vitamin C Lip Mask is a staple in my skincare routine. This adorable mask has a thick and buttery consistency.

When first applied, it gives a glossy finish to the lips and then sinks in completely, leaving the lips feeling plush and plump. A little goes a long way with this lip mask, so you only need to scoop out the tiniest amount.

You can leave this mask on overnight while you sleep or even use it to prep your lips before makeup. Because it absorbs so well, I like to use it underneath lipsticks that have drier formulas.
  • Dior Addict
    Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm

    Lana

Dior Addict Lip Glow in 001 Pink is a comforting lip balm that provides a subtle pink flush to the lips. Dior describes this lip balm as “color awakening” meaning this shade will look slightly different on all who wear it. The lip balm reacts to the chemistry of each individual’s lips to adapt a custom color best suited to each user's skin tone.

I like to use this balm at the end of my morning skincare regime and on minimal makeup days to add a protecting layer of hydration and an extra pretty pink glow to my lips.
