  • BIOSSANCE
    Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer
    $52.00

BIOSSANCE is cruelty-free, accredited with Leaping Bunny, and all their products are 100% vegan. This moisturizer in particular has squalane, probiotic ferment, red seaweed extract, ginger extract, and more.

All these ingredients help skin that is affected by environmental stressors, calms redness, and leaves skin visibly brighter and smoother. I'm acne-prone and have eczema, so I really loved that there was no fragrance added to this.

It's gel-based, but it isn't occlusive, which is great if your skin doesn't like anything too heavy. It still gives your skin ample moisture and really helps with redness.

Although a tad bit pricey, it works so well. It does a wonderful job of giving skin not only moisture, but it also reduces redness and brightens the skin. Because it targets so many problem areas, this is worth every penny.
  • e.l.f.
    16HR Camo Concealer
    $5.00

Many compare this to the famous Tarte Shape Tape, which I've never used, but I can say that this is an amazing full-coverage concealer. Plus, it's matte, so you'll love it if you're oily like me. And did I mention it's only 5-6 dollars?

You only need the tiniest amount. I find that the best way to apply this is by dabbing a little directly from the doe-foot applicator, and right after, going in with a damp beauty blender.

I want to note that this does dry faster than other concealers I've tried, so please use a good moisturizer before application and work fast to flawlessly blend this out. This is awesome as an eyelid primer as well. e.l.f. also has a great range of shades for every skin tone, which I really appreciate.
  • Wander Beauty
    Lip Retreat Tinted Lip Oil
    $22.00

I really enjoy the shade "Skinny Dip", which really does show up in a peachy nude color. It gives a nice juicy effect to the lips, and it has a subtle sheen and not super glossy. Your lips will have a nice, wet look.

This color would be a perfect topper for lipstick, too. It doesn't contain any shimmer or glitter, which makes it unique and different from other lip glosses. The texture of the gloss is neither too thick nor too runny, so it feels more like sheer oil.

Many compare this to the Clarins Lip Oil. It glides on the lips like a dream and feels pretty comfortable on the lips, but you can definitely feel its presence. The best part: it is absolutely non-sticky!

I love reapplying this through the day. I think it's perfect if you want a flush of color without a commitment to a lipstick. There are four shades in total, including a clear one.
  • Derma E
Radiant Glow Face Oil by SunKissAlba
    $22.50

This product is my go-to for every day. I'm very picky when it comes to oils because my oily skin can only take so much. This is light, comfortable on the skin, does not cause me to break out.

You apply this product every night after moisturizer to seal it in, and you can also mix a little of this with your foundation for a dewy look.

I often also use this on my eczema breakouts because this oil has Sea Buckthorn in it, which is a wonderful oil with anti-inflammatory properties. I used it in my hair and cuticles as well!
  • OSEA
    Ocean Cleansing Mudd
    $48.00

This tingly cleanser is so energizing! It has tea tree and peppermint, which is like a morning pick-me-up. This cleanser is literally mud, so it's very slimy, but it does lather. If you have sensitive skin, this might be too much for you.

A tip I have for anyone is to cleanse your skin for one full minute. This ensures the ingredients will have a chance to work on your skin. This cleanser does a great job of decongesting your pores and drying up the current breakouts you may have.

This cleanser also doesn't dry the skin out. It feels healthy and ready for the next steps. This isn't a cheap cleanser (especially with shipping), but if you ever have a chance to splurge, this is it!
  • Purito
    Centella Green Level Unscented Sun
    $15.90

I love this sunscreen so much. Because I am a person of color, sunscreens that leave a whitecast are not for me. They can come off purple or make me look ashy. This is perfect because there is no white cast at all!

It is budget-friendly under $16, and it gives you a dewy finish. There is a slight tackiness to the texture, but it’s perfect for helping makeup adhere to skin and is really easy to re-apply through the day.

There are no essential oils in this product, so if you have sensitive skin and are sensitive to fragrance, this is the sunscreen for you.
  • Eva NYC
    Therapy Session Hair Mask
    $14.99

My hair is my crown and glory. I have big but fine, dry strands. My hair conditioner needs to detangle, but also soften and make my hair stronger.

This does an amazing job at doing all three! I section my hair in four sections after I shampoo and smooth this product through. You can take a wide-tooth comb or detangling brush and start detangling from ends to tips.

After, you should leave it in your hair for two to five minutes. While I let it sit, I go on with my shower routine. The smell is sweet but not overwhelming. Overall, it's a great, moisturizing protein conditioner.
  • Ardell Professional
    Wispies
    $12.25

Hands down, these are my favorite lashes. They are natural-looking and last forever. One thing I don't like when wearing lashes is feeling them and the heaviness that comes with it, but these Ardell lashes are perfect.

They are so easy to apply and just elevate a makeup look. I would say this is a beginner lash, but Ardell has a huge variety of lash accessories like the duo glue and more dramatic faux mink lashes.

You can probably get at least 4 uses for each pair. These have a clear band, which I prefer. I find the clear bands to be easier to hide, flexible, and it’s easier to know when they’re clean.
  • COSRX
Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
    $15.71

First, let's address snail. Don't worry; there's no offensive smell or strange texture. It's just a bit sticky when you first apply it! The snails are also not harmed, which was so important to me - no cruelty involved.

It dries very quickly, so you should smooth or pat it in fast. I love that it didn't aggravate my combo-oily, acne-prone, slightly sensitive skin.

I have actives in my routine which include prescription retinoids. I mainly loved this essence to reduce redness and help with a bit of flaking due to the actives I use in my routine. After you use a hydrating toner, you can use this essence to amp up the hydration in your skin.

I'd do about 3 pumps and pat this into my skin. Skin feels smoother, nicely moisturized, and no oilier than usual. I also really love the healing effects of this essence. It's perfect for acne aftercare!
  • TULA
Acne Clearing + Tone Correcting Gel
    $36.00

My skin really loves BHA's, and this product has 2% salicylic acid and azelaic acid. I suffer from hormonal and cystic acne, and a treatment that I can use every day without irritating my skin is so important.

My routines are very basic when I'm going through a breakout. I cleanse, then I use this treatment and proceed with a good moisturizer. This may make your skin drier, but it has hyaluronic acid and willowherb to combat dryness. To help combat that, it's so important to moisturize after your treatment!

If you're first starting out, this will take about two or three weeks to see results, but don't give up! Over time, this helped with my dark spots and hyperpigmentation a lot.
