  • Banila Co
Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Nourishing

    Annie

The Clean It Zero cleansing balm from Banila Co has long been a cult favorite in the beauty community, and as of last year, it now comes in a formula for those of us with dry skin.

This balm effortlessly removes makeup, sunscreen and any and all dirt and grime from the day without leaving any filmy residue or stripping the skin.

Transforming from thick balm to a smooth oil, this is perfect for a first cleanse. And the best part - a tub of Clean It Zero lasts a long time and won't break the bank.
  • Holifrog
Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Wash

    Annie

This is one of my favorite beauty discoveries of 2019. Holifrog's "situational cleansers" cater to different skin types and their needs, and this milky wash is a match made in heaven for dry skin.

Water lily root and lotus flower maximize moisture while sunflower seed oil and aloe vera soothe redness and calm irritation. It's also free of synthetic fragrances and essential oils, which is always a plus in my book!

Honestly, I've found myself reaching for this on the daily and would recommend it to anyone with dry and/or sensitive skin.
  • Laneige
    Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer

    Annie

Another fast favorite in the beauty community (and with good reason) is Laneige's Cream Skin Toner. In the past, many toners were made and used to balance pH levels after cleansing and were very astringent in nature, but that's not true about most popular toners on the market today.

In fact, a hydrating toner is one of the best ways to maximize moisture in your skincare routine. Cream Skin is a two-in-one hybrid that softens and moisturizes with the consistency of a toner and less of the bulk that comes with rich creams. Layer this on after cleansing and before your serums and creams.
  • Pixi
    Glow Mist

    Annie

Made with propolis and argan oil - along with more than ten other natural oils, aloe vera and niacinamide - this dual-phase face mist is one of the most truly hydrating mists I've ever tried. I've tried a lot of mists and none have really come close to this one.

I've found this product to be particularly useful as a setting spray as it helps keep my makeup from looking too cakey or feeling too dry. Use morning and night and any other time of day. It can also be used on your hair!
  • Caudalie
    Vinosource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum

    Annie

For dry skin, I can highly recommend Caudalie's S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum as a great product to layer within your routine. I like to use this after cleansing and toning and before oils and moisturizers.

I find that it absorbs really well and leaves my skin plump and glowing without pilling or feeling tacky or sticky.

Caudalie is definitely one of my favorite skincare brands. I fell in love with the brand after a trip I took to Paris two years ago. They make some really great body washes and lotions, too.
  • Farmacy
    Honey Grail Ultra-Hydrating Face Oil

    Annie

If you have dry skin, oils are your friend. This oil is on the thicker side, formulated with honey, sea buckthorn, and a five-flower blend of hibiscus, rosehip (my favorite), evening primrose, crambe and sunflower oils.

I wouldn't use this everyday, but when I really need a big boost of moisture, I love to massage this into my skin before bed. I wake up feeling replenished and renewed.

It's important to note, however, that this product contains coconut oil, which is known to clog pores in more acne-prone skin types.
  • Good Molecules
    Ultra-Hydrating Facial Oil

    Annie

The Good Molecules line of skincare made by Beautylish offers an array of high quality products at an affordable price.

Among many that I've tried and liked, their ultra-hydrating facial oil has been a wonderful addition to my night time routine. The blend of Camellia Oil and Sea Buckthorn Oil hydrates, protects and nourishes the skin in just a few drops.

Because Sea Buckthorn has a naturally-occuring orange tint, I recommend using at night at the end of your routine. At $10 a bottle it's hard to go wrong with this facial oil.
  • SkinRx Lab
    Re-turn MadeCera Cream

    Annie

When I use SkinRx Lab's MadeCera cream, my skin looks plump and hydrated without fail. Without being too heavy, this rich yet lightweight cream applies wonderfully and works very well under makeup.

Madecassoside, a compound naturally found in centella asiatica extract (or CiCa), helps strengthen the skin barrier and reduce the likelihood of further moisture loss and irritation.

The only thing I don't like about this product is that it is scented. It's not too overwhelming, but it's definitely there; and if you're sensitive to fragrance, that's important to note.
  • Summer Fridays
    Jet Lag Mask

    Annie

I like to use this mask as an overnight treatment as there's no need to rinse after using. It's soothing and hydrating and really does wonders for dull and dry skin.

At $48 a tube, it is a little bit expensive for a mask; but if this fits your budget, I can recommend it as a great weekly or bi-weekly moisture booster for your skin.

Star ingredients Vitamin C and Niacinamide help brighten your complexion and reduce the visibility of pores and fine lines, while Chestnut Extract works to activate natural exfoliation.
  • Krave Beauty
    The Beet Shield

    Annie

It can be hard to find a good SPF, especially one that doesn't leave a white cast, feel greasy or dry out your skin. The Beet Shield from Krave is my favorite sunscreen of all time.

It feels more like a serum and leaves a beautiful finish on the skin. Rich in antioxidants to protect against environmental stressors, key nutrients include beetroot extract, vitamin C, and Resveratrol.

Remember: no A.M. skincare routine is complete without SPF and make sure you apply this one at least 15 minutes before leaving the house.
