In the summer, it tends to get hot and humid, and your makeup can't help but melt off! That's why base products are so important. You need to prep your face to last through those hot days, but also keep it lightweight so your skin won't feel tempted to sweat so much. But it can be difficult to figure out what works and what doesn't, so we've asked K-beauty blogger Ammarah (@ammarahblog) for her advice.
She says: "As summer is here, I think it’s a perfect time for me to introduce some of my favorite base products to you guys. Most of the products I am introducing today may be holy grails for many of you, but I will also be sharing some new great makeup products that you need to try out if you haven't already!
I will be focusing more on lightweight base products which provide plenty of coverage, are long-lasting, and work well in hot and humid weather even with a mask on! Here are some of my favorite skin prep product recommendations."

"As spring and summer are just around the corner, it's the best time to share some Korean skincare products. I will be covering everything from cleansing balm, to sunscreen, and to sleeping masks that you will need to try this spring and summer (if you haven't already).
Let me introduce you to mild, calming, and hydrating products which are well-known in the K-beauty community. K-beauty brands focus more on mild formulations and calming ingredients like mugwort and Centella, which work for most skin types. I made this product list keeping in mind most skin types and maskne, which is becoming more common these days."
