During his tenure as a sales assistant at a leading bicycle shop, he didn't just sell a broad spectrum of bicycles—from everyday city bikes and kids' bikes to high-performance sports bikes—he also performed their assembly and repairs. His expertise extends to serving as pit staff at the All-Japan Cyclocross Championship and XCO Japan National Championship. An experienced cyclist, he has competed across various cycling disciplines, including road cycling, cyclocross, mountain biking, and triathlons.
