Maki Arakawa

Profile

Maki is a lecturer in the Animal Clinical Nutrition Education Research Lab at the Yamazaki University of Animal Health Technology's Department of Veterinary Nursing. She specializes in the nutrition of dogs and cats, conducting research and educational activities on cat pet food, hydration, and urination behavior. Maki is affiliated with the Japanese Society of Veterinary Nursing and the Japanese Society of Pet Animal Nutrition and holds qualifications as a veterinary nurse and a pet nutritionist. She has been awarded three times for her presentations on veterinary nursing education and animal nutrition at academic conferences by the Japanese Society of Veterinary Nursing. She is also the author of "The Great Book of Good Things for Cats" (published by Shufu no Tomo).
