Masahiro Tokumura

Profile

In addition to serving as an assistant professor at the University of Shizuoka, Masahiro is the director of the Society of Indoor Environment Japan, specializing in environmental and engineering sciences. After completing his studies in Environment Systems at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, the University of Tokyo, he now works on developing technologies for efficient wastewater and exhaust gas treatment. His research focuses on comprehensively assessing the risks of chemicals in our surroundings and developing methods to efficiently reduce those risks. Masahiro has received numerous awards, including the Award for Excellence in Environmental Science Research from the Kurita Water and Environment Foundation.
