Which Is Best: Hiring a Service, Purchase, or Rental?

For those who want to use a pressure washer, there are three main options: Hire a professional cleaning service, purchase a pressure washer and clean by yourself, or rent one and use it temporarily.

Our research found that hiring a professional service is recommended for a high-quality wash and for those with a large house. In contrast, purchasing is recommended for those who clean often because it is cost-effective.

Purchasing Is Good for Frequent Use; Hiring a Service Is Ideal for Large Houses

Purchasing Is Good for Frequent Use; Hiring a Service Is Ideal for Large Houses

Pressure washing services rendered by professionals tend to be expensive. How their fee is calculated can vary, but the most common calculation is based on the cleaning area. The larger the house, the higher the cost. However, since cleaning is done by professionals, the process is efficient, and the results are more consistent than doing it yourself.

If you choose to buy a pressure washer instead, prices range from $89 to $449 per unit, depending on how advanced the product is. However, even for pressure washers on the expensive end, the price will be well worth it after a few uses.

Renting may be convenient for those who do not want to store equipment, but the daily cost of $45 to $100 can be less cost-effective than purchasing.

Considering the size of your home and how frequently you intend to use a pressure washer, we recommend hiring a service or purchasing one yourself.

Homeowners with larger houses should probably hire a professional. A professional is more likely to not leave cleaning stripes or make common mistakes that can damage the surface being cleaned.

How to Choose Pressure Washers

Here are the points to keep in mind when choosing the best Pressure Washers.

1

Pressure Washers Come in Two Varieties: Electric and Gas

There are two main types of pressure washers for home use. One is electric, used by plugging it into a power outlet, and the other is gas-powered. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, so let's check them out.

We Recommend Electric for Beginners; Gas Washers Are Powerful, but Maintenance Can Be a Hassle

We Recommend Electric for Beginners; Gas Washers Are Powerful, but Maintenance Can Be a Hassle

Electric pressure washers can have a wide range of water pressures. Some can exceed 3,000 PSI at the high end, while others may only reach around 1,800 PSI at the lower end.

However, the advantage of electric pressure washers is their ease of use compared to gas models. If you have a power supply and a water faucet, you can use electric washers immediately after purchase.

On the other hand, gas-powered models are characterized by their powerful output. They have enough power to punch holes in thin vinyl sheets, indicating their high cleaning ability.

But, while these models are incredibly powerful, they require gasoline and engine oil, which can make maintenance a chore, and their engines can be challenging to start in cold weather. These factors may make them hard for beginners to handle.

Allen C
Pressure Washing Expert
Allen C

A gas-powered machine will almost always have more cleaning power than what an electric pressure washer can deliver. Pressure washers with an electric motor are very limited in their ability to clean. In my opinion, the basic model for home use should be rated at least 3000 PSI.

2

When It Comes to Cleaning Power, Choose a Washer We Rated 4.5 Stars or Above

When It Comes to Cleaning Power, Choose a Washer We Rated 4.5 Stars or Above

When it comes to cleaning power, pressure isn't the only factor that matters. The water flow rate is just as important. Whether a small or large amount of water is used within the same time frame constantly affects how well dirt and grime are removed.

At mybest, we measured the water pressure and water flow rate over a set period for each pressure washer, rating those with higher numbers in both areas as having stronger cleaning power.

As a result, the products rated 4.50 stars or higher on our list should ensure effective cleaning. These models removed dirt from surfaces like concrete, wooden fences, and decks.

We tested both electric and gas-powered pressure washers. Our findings showed that gas models pack about two to three times more power than electric ones. While gas models are ideal for tackling tough stains, extra care is needed when using them on wooden fences, decks, or cars. Using the wrong nozzle can risk damage or scratches, so it's best to keep some distance and use a nozzle with a wider angle when working on these surfaces.

Head of HVAC and Vacuums at mybest

Even products that ended up with a lower rating can still remove dirt. They may just need multiple passes when tackling more stubborn stains.

For Cleaning Concrete and Sidewalks, Pressure is Key; Gas Models Can Clean in a Single Pass

For Cleaning Concrete and Sidewalks, Pressure is Key; Gas Models Can Clean in a Single Pass

Concrete and sidewalks are tough surfaces, meaning they can handle high water pressure without damage. Water pressure is essential since these surfaces often accumulate stubborn dark stains mixed with oil, dust, and sand. Therefore, in our concrete and sidewalk cleaning tests, we weighted pressure a bit more heavily in our evaluation.

We found that the products we rated 4.50 stars or higher provided enough pressure and flow to remove dirt in almost a single pass. Models rated below 4.50 also cleaned effectively, but in some cases, multiple passes were needed to remove tougher grime.

Among the models tested, gas-powered washers stood out significantly. Their pressure and water flow exceeded electric models, providing the power to scrub off dirt effectively. While electric models don't quite match the power of gas options, they still have enough strength to clean thoroughly, making them a viable choice.

For Fences and Wood Decks, Choose a Model with High Water Flow; Too Much Pressure Can Cause Damage

For Fences and Wood Decks, Choose a Model with High Water Flow; Too Much Pressure Can Cause Damage

Since fences and wood decks are more prone to damage than concrete or sidewalks, finding the right balance between pressure and water flow is crucial. These surfaces typically collect moss and algae, which are easier to remove than the tough stains found on concrete, meaning high pressure isn’t necessary.

In this test, gas-powered models again offered more power than electric ones. However, if the wood is fragile or weathered, the high pressure from a gas model could cause damage. Maintaining distance and using a wide-angle nozzle can help, but be cautious with high-pressure models.

On the other hand, electric models carry less risk of damage due to their lower power. Although they have less pressure, electric models we rated 4.50 stars or higher in cleaning power for fences are still effective at removing dirt without any trouble.

3

The Key to Easy Operation Lies in the Trigger Gun and Hose

Pressure washers are usually operated with a hose connected to a trigger gun and nozzle, which releases the water. Being able to maneuver these parts comfortably and safely is essential.

In our tests of the following models, we noted how comfortable it was to handle each one. Read through our testing method below for more details on how we tested for ease of use.

A Non-Slip Grip on a Trigger Gun Is Crucial for Easy Handling and Comfort

A Non-Slip Grip on a Trigger Gun Is Crucial for Easy Handling and Comfort

We found that the shape of the trigger gun significantly affects the feeling of stability in your hand. There are two main points: the shape of the grip and the distance from the grip to the trigger.

If the shape of the grip is cinched in, it gives a stable feeling as if the trigger gun is contoured to your hand. On the other hand, if the center of the handle is bulbous, the trigger gun seems to slip from your hand, making it feel like you need extra effort to hold it securely.

The other point is the distance from the grip to the trigger. If the second joint of your finger reaches the trigger when you place your hand on the grip, it will be easier to operate.

Given that these washers emit water at a very high pressure, for safety's sake, we recommend products with user-friendly trigger guns.

A Hose With Less Kinks Will Be Easier to Handle; Look for the "Bar Value" Indicating Pressure Resistance

A Hose With Less Kinks Will Be Easier to Handle; Look for the "Bar Value" Indicating Pressure Resistance

Pressure washers use a long, high-pressure hose, so it is essential to find one with a hose that is easy to handle. Hoses are shipped in a coil, so they tend to have strong kinks. The key to quickly removing these kinks lies in a hose's bar value.

  1. What is the bar value?
The bar value is a number that indicates the pressure resistance of a high-pressure hose. Most hoses have this value written directly on them. The higher the bar value, the more rigid and sturdy a hose is. Consequently, removing the kinks from this type of hose tends to be more difficult.

If a hose remains kinked during operation, it can be troublesome to move over long distances. It's a good idea to choose a product with a low bar value so that the kinks can be easily removed.

4

A Handle Height of Over 30 Inches Is Easier to Move

When cleaning a large area, you may need to relocate your pressure washer multiple times. So, in our tests, we checked whether each product was easy to move.

Products That Are 30 Inches Tall or Higher Can Be Moved Without Bending Over

Products That Are 30 Inches Tall or Higher Can Be Moved Without Bending Over

For larger houses or buildings, you may have to cover a long distance to clean the desired area. If you're moving an item with a handle height of 30 inches or more, you should be able to move it without bending over.

Also, in addition to a handle, wheels are essential. Some pressure washers do not have wheels as they are intended for stationary use. They can weigh between 18 and 23 pounds, which is pretty heavy. So, wheels are essential if you're moving your pressure washer around a large building.

Allen C
Pressure Washing Expert
Allen C

Surprisingly, there are many tire types to choose from when it comes to the wheels of a pressure washer, such as those made of rubber and those made of plastic. My recommendation is a rubber tire with high air pressure. Ideally, this kind of tire should be able to move stably, even if the product is heavy.

5

A Pressure Washer With Many Nozzles Can Be Used for Various Applications, From Sidewalks to Cars

Some pressure washers include accessories and several types of nozzles that can be used on various surfaces, such as vehicles, concrete, glass, and much more. Having many types of nozzles will allow for a broad range of uses.

The 0-degree Nozzle Is Suitable for Concrete; The 40-degree Nozzle Is Less Likely to Damage Cars

The 0-degree Nozzle Is Suitable for Concrete; The 40-degree Nozzle Is Less Likely to Damage Cars

Most pressure washers allow you to change the spray angle by switching the nozzle. There are several types of nozzles, which can be distinguished by color.

The red nozzle sprays at a straight 0-degree angle and is the highest-pressure nozzle. It is most suitable for spraying on hard surfaces like concrete and into the crevices of cobblestones. However, it's important to note that it has a narrower spraying range due to its intensity.

The yellow nozzle sprays at a slightly wider angle of 15 degrees. While it's not as powerful as the 0-degree nozzle, it is suitable for stubborn dirt. It's a good choice if you're cleaning things like garden curbs or pavers.

The green nozzle sprays at a wider 25-degree angle. This nozzle is suitable for surfaces that may get damaged under high pressure, such as wood decks and exterior wall sidings.

The white nozzle has the widest spray angle of 40 degrees. It's often used for objects that scratch easily, like cars. Thanks to its wide spray range, it's also easy to use to rinse things off.

In addition to the nozzles mentioned above, there is a black soap nozzle. This is a detergent-specific nozzle that you can use after putting liquid detergent into the main body. Whether this nozzle is included or not depends on the product. Some products can be purchased as optional extras. Having these features included from the start is convenient, as it allows you to clean a wide variety of targets quickly.

mybest's Top Choice: Easy to Move Around With Satisfactory Cleaning Power

What we loved

  • Compact, great for limited storage space
  • High cleaning power
  • Stable hose that's resistant to kinks

What we didn't love

  • Trigger gun is heavy

The Dewalt pressure washer DWPW2100 is characterized by its box-like shape. Because it is compact, it's recommended for those who don't have a lot of storage space.

A vital feature of this product is its ability to become compact when stored. You can extend its handle on top to move it easily. Although the plastic wheels are relatively small, they make transportation simple and effortless, as you can pull it along like a carry case. The cord and hose can be sandwiched between the main body and the outer pillar.

With high pressure and water flow, this model offers impressive cleaning power for fences and wood decks. When used with an angled nozzle on sidewalks and concrete, its pressure ranks among  the top for electric models. While the water flow was slightly lower, it still provided sufficient cleaning power to tackle dirt effectively.

On the other hand, a point of concern was the weight of the trigger gun, which is slightly heavy at 1.59 lbs. There was a noticeably weighty feeling when holding it. The shape of the grip and the distance to the trigger provide a stable hold, but its heavy weight can quickly tire out the hand. The hose's pressure resistance is 165 bar, so any kinks can be easily removed. If you can work with the weight of the trigger gun, this model earns many points for user-friendliness and portability.

Cleaning Power Is Low, but Highly Rated for Ease of Use and Quiet Operation

What we loved

  • Compact design is easy to store
  • Fairly quiet operation
  • Portable

What we didn't love

  • Handle and trigger slightly uncomfortable
  • Somewhat less affective against stains on concrete

The RY1419MT by Ryobi is an electric pressure washer that can be placed vertically or horizontally. One of its key features is its compact size, which allows it to be stored in tight spaces.

It has an extendable handle like a carry case, making it easy to move. A short handle on top of the unit should make it easy to lift and place on a shelf. The plastic wheels could be bigger, but they make the product convenient for those who need to store it in a small space.

The pressure resistance of the hose is relatively low at 138 bar—however, the hose twists easily, which is a positive feature. The trigger gun weighs only 0.97 lb, making it light and easy to lift. However, the distance from the grip to the trigger is a lengthy 3.35 inches, which may make the trigger harder to pull for those with small hands. Also, the grip is wider at the top, giving a sense that the hand might slip when holding it, making it harder to exert force on the trigger.

This model includes only a 15-degree nozzle, but it still provides ample cleaning power, effectively removing dirt from fences and wood decks at a high level. The balance between pressure and water flow was excellent, allowing it to clean concrete and sidewalks without issue. However, there are models with even higher cleaning power that you may want to go with if you are mainly cleaning concrete surfaces.

High Cleaning Power and Easy to Use; No Wide-Angle Nozzle Included

What we loved

  • Great for beginners
  • Hose resistant to kinks
  • Portable

What we didn't love

  • Trigger gun may be too large for small hands
  • No automatic winding of power cord

Ryobi's RY142022VNM is an electric pressure washer with a backpack-like design. It offers high cleaning power and ease of use, making it perfect for beginners.

This product offers excellent water pressure and flow for high-level cleaning performance. Despite being a compact electric model, it can easily tackle stubborn grime. With its strong pressure and ample water flow, it can effectively clean surfaces where dirt tends to cling, like concrete and sidewalks.

The trigger gun is lightweight, but the width of the grip can feel somewhat slippery and may not fit well in the hand. Furthermore, the distance to the trigger might be slightly too far for those with small hands, potentially making it difficult to apply force. On the other hand, the hose has a pressure resistance rating of 138 bar, and any kinks in the hose were quickly removed.

The handle can be extended up to 34 inches, allowing it to be carried like a suitcase. While the wheels are on the smaller side, the movement method is straightforward, so it's easy to haul it over steps. One point of concern was the lack of automatic power cord winding during storage, so you might need to wind it up manually.

Our Recommended Gas-Powered Model With an Easy-To-Handle Trigger Gun

What we loved

  • Excellent water pressure
  • Sturdy hose resistant to kinks
  • Portable and lightweight

What we didn't love

  • It's loud

The Westinghouse Gas Powered Pressure Washer WPX3400 stands out for its easy-to-handle trigger gun, even as it blasts high-pressure water.

As a gas-powered model, this unit delivers ample pressure and water flow for cleaning both concrete and sidewalks, as well as fences and wood decks. Whether using the 15-degree or 25-degree nozzle, it recorded more than twice the average pressure of electric models. Its water flow rate also significantly exceeded the average for electric units, making it easy to remove stubborn grime.

The hose's pressure resistance is a robust 234 bar, making it less prone to kinks. The easy-to-handle trigger gun is a plus. The trigger gun itself is pretty light at 1.10 lb, and the grip is wide enough for a firm hold. We found the controls very easy to use.

The overall height is a bit taller compared to other gas models. However, including the handle, it is 39 inches tall and can be moved around as easily as a baby stroller. This product is recommended for those in search of a gas-powered model.

Hose Is Tough to Handle, But Comes With a Variety of Nozzles

What we loved

  • Versatile with a wide range of nozzles
  • Portable
  • High cleaning power

What we didn't love

  • Hose prone to kinks
  • Slightly uncomfortable trigger gun

The PowRyte 3800-P264K-525 is characterized by its sleek, tall design. This electric pressure washer comes with four types of nozzles, making it suitable for various uses, from sidewalks to cars.

This model provides the necessary water pressure and flow for effective cleaning, ensuring it has the power needed to tackle dirt thoroughly. It also includes four nozzle options—0, 15, 25, and 40 degrees—adding versatility for use on a variety of surfaces.

Both the power cord and high-pressure hose can be hooked onto the body, making it easy to move around when needed. The handle is 32.08 inches high and easy to grasp, but we noted that if tilted too much, the water inlet at the bottom of the body could scrape against the ground.

The 262-bar high-pressure hose has a high resistance and tends to retain kinks. The trigger gun has a short distance to the trigger, but the grip narrows from top to bottom, which can cause the user to apply unnecessary force.

Ease of Use and Variety of Nozzle Types are Appealing

What we loved

  • Easy to grip
  • Hose resistant to kinks

What we didn't love

  • Heavy to carry

Dewalt's electric pressure washer, the DWPW2400, offers both high cleaning power and easy-to-handle components.

The 15-degree nozzle, ideal for sidewalks and concrete, had somewhat low pressure, making it slightly underpowered for removing stubborn dirt in one pass. While the water flow is comparable to other models, it leaves a bit to be desired. The 25-degree nozzle, ideal for fences and wood decks, provided adequate cleaning performance, though both the pressure and water flow were lower than other models. For those who clean infrequently, it may struggle with especially persistent grime.

This product's charm lies in its easy-grip trigger gun. The trigger gun itself isn't light at 0.97 lb, but it gradually widens from the top to the middle of the grip, providing stability when held. The distance to the trigger is an easy-to-reach 2.76 inches. The hose's pressure resistance of 165 bar also helps to minimize twisting, dramatically reducing stress during work.

Although the main body is heavy at 40 pounds, it's no trouble to move thanks to its large tires and high handle. With a simple push, like a lawnmower, it can easily be moved even across a wide area. This model successfully balances all the required features of a high-pressure washer.

The 5-In-1 Nozzle Is Highly Versatile and the Trigger Gun Is Easy to Grip

What we loved

  • High cleaning power unique to gas models
  • Comfortable trigger gun, good for small hands
  • Large tires great for movability

What we didn't love

  • Hose is slightly too rigid for easy handling

Ryobi's RY803023 is a gas-powered pressure washer equipped with a Honda engine. It includes a 5-in-1 nozzle, and its versatility is a strong selling point.

Among the gas models we compared, this one has slightly lower pressure, but it still offers far superior cleaning power compared to electric models. It’s capable of effectively cleaning a wide range of surfaces, from concrete and sidewalks to fences and wood decks. For those concerned about potential damage to wood surfaces, it's advisable to keep some distance when spraying.

One positive aspect was the easily manageable trigger gun. The distance to the trigger is 2.76 inches, and the narrow width allows people with smaller hands to grip it comfortably. The handle, which widens from top to bottom, gives the impression that the hand is firmly on the trigger and makes it easy to apply force. On the downside, the hose has a pressure resistance of 228 bars, which is relatively rigid. Despite trying to extend it, it would coil back to its original shape. This is a minor disappointment, considering the ease of handling of the trigger gun.

The handle is 35.43 inches high, making it easy to grab and move around. Additionally, the large tires should make overcoming steps a breeze. With its included 5-in-1 nozzle, this product is recommended for those who want to clean everything from sidewalks to plastic chairs thoroughly.

Hose Is Harder to Handle But Cleaning Power Isn’t Bad

What we loved

  • Portable and easy to move
  • High cleaning power with a wide-angle nozzle

What we didn't love

  • Rigid hose is difficult to handle
  • Short hose limits its reach

The SPX3000 Electric Pressure Washer from Sun Joe has an appealing look with its rounded shape and two tanks on top.

Due to its stability, the trigger gun fits comfortably in hand, but the hose, with its high-pressure resistance of 200 bar, feels somewhat rigid when handled. Furthermore, the high-pressure hose is somewhat short, stopping at 20 feet. You might need to relocate the washer frequently if you want to clean a wide range.

With the commonly used 15-degree nozzle for sidewalks and concrete, the water pressure was a bit low, meaning stubborn dirt might require multiple passes. However, with the 25-degree nozzle, the higher water flow makes it easy to clear moss and algae from fences and wood decks without risking damage.

There are built-in holders and hooks for the hose and cord on the machine, so all you have to do to move the unit is quickly hook them in and lift the handle. The size of the wheels is sufficient to overcome high steps without any problem. It's not as heavy as it looks, weighing 27.8 pounds, so moving it should be quick and easy.

A Hassle to Move Around Without Wheels and Only Has Two Types of Nozzle

What we loved

  • Lightweight
  • Hose is resistant to kinks

What we didn't love

  • No wheels, must be carried
  • Trigger and handle not ideal for beginners
  • Somnewhat weak against stains on concrete

The Greenworks GPW1602 is a stationary electric pressure washer with no wheels.

Additionally, its handle is only about 18 inches high, which is relatively low. Considering that the main unit weighs only 18.29 pounds, it is designed to be lifted when moving. However, we found it cumbersome to carry and move because the holder for storing the hose and cord is small.

The hose's pressure-resistance value is 138 bar, which allows it to eliminate kinks quickly. However, the distance to the trigger was long, and the shape of the handle was hard to fit in the hand, making the trigger gun challenging to hold. This might not be a problem for someone experienced using a pressure washer, but beginners may find this model hard to use.

This model lacks narrow-spray nozzles like the 0 and 15-degree options, meaning you'll need to clean concrete and sidewalks with the 25-degree nozzle. Due to the wider angle, the water pressure is somewhat lower, which might be less convenient for those who frequently clean concrete or sidewalk surfaces.

Limited Nozzle Variety; Cleaning Power Slightly Insufficient

What we loved

  • Compact design
  • Flexible hose is resistant to kinks
  • Sufficient for fences and wood decks

What we didn't love

  • No wheels, hard to move
  • Uncomfortable handle and trigger gun
  • Somewhat lacking on concrete surfaces

The K1800PS CUBE from Kärcher is a compact and stationary product. It might not be suitable for those with large properties as it's relatively small.

Perhaps because of its emphasis on compactness, it lacks features like wheels or a handle longer than 30 inches. When moving, it needs to be lifted with both hands. Including attachments such as the trigger gun and hose, the unit weighs 23 pounds, making it difficult to lift.

The bar value indicating the pressure resistance of the hose was 124 bar, a figure that allows for easy removal of kinks. However, the grip of the trigger gun is hard to hold. The distance from the grip to the trigger is far, and people with small hands may only be able to grasp it with their first knuckle.

With a good balance of pressure and water flow, this model offers adequate cleaning power for fences and wood decks. However, the pressure may be too low for concrete and sidewalks, making it challenging to remove tough, stuck-on grime in a single pass. Additionally, its limited versatility—only including a 15-degree nozzle and a soap nozzle—may be a drawback for some users.

High Cleaning Power, but Hose Trigger Gun Was Difficult to Handle

What we loved

  • High cleaning power
  • Dial allows for easy power switch
  • Portable

What we didn't love

  • Handle and trigger gun difficult to use
  • Hose can be prone to kinks
  • Recoil cord for gas engine frays quickly

Generac's SPEEDWASH™ 2900PSI PRESSURE WASHER is a gasoline-powered pressure washer with a distinctive orange body.

As a gas-powered model, it delivers impressive water pressure and flow, making it easy to remove everything from light to stubborn dirt. It includes additional nozzles beyond the 15-degree option, providing ample versatility. Plus, the dial at the base of the trigger gun allows for convenient adjustment of spray intensity, adding even more control.

The handle is positioned at a height of 35.5 inches, allowing you to easily push it forward with a slight tilt. The large-diameter wheels should make it easy to overcome any high steps. Being gas-powered means no power cord; just lightly wind up the hose and hang it on the hook, which prevents it from getting in the way.

However, the hose's pressure resistance is hard at 234 bar, and the shape of the trigger gun makes it difficult to apply force. It may not be suitable for long hours of work. Furthermore, the recoil rope for starting the engine began to fray after only a few pulls, which was a point of concern. Our testers reported feeling the string might break if the engine is repeatedly started.

Though Compact and With High Cleaning Power, It’s Not Easy to Handle

What we loved

  • Compact
  • High cleaning power

What we didn't love

  • Difficult to move
  • Uncomfortable grip for trigger gun and handle
  • Hose is prone to kinks

The Westinghouse ePX3500 Electric Pressure Washer is a compact product with four wheels. However, since the handle height is 16.5 inches, you need to stoop low to roll it, so lifting and carrying it is better. Its compact size ensures it doesn't take up much storage space. However, we found it inconvenient because it was difficult to move.

The pressure resistance, which affects the stiffness of the hose, is somewhat hard at 175 bar. Even if you try to extend it, it doesn't fully loosen and recoils once you let go. Also, the handle of the trigger gun is almost the same width throughout, making it uncomfortable to hold. The distance to the trigger is also not close, making it difficult to operate.

With a variety of nozzles included, except for the 40-degree option, this model offers plenty of versatility. Its cleaning power meets the standards needed to tackle dirt effectively. However, while it’s powerful enough, it may feel somewhat challenging to handle, which is a slight drawback.

Trigger Gun and Hose Are Easy to Handle, but Lacks Essential Cleaning Power

What we loved

  • Handle and trigger are easy to use
  • Kinks in hose are easily removed
  • Portable

What we didn't love

  • Weak cleaning power
  • Must carry heavy power cord

Kärcher's K 3 POWER CONTROL has a striking, slim body. Its ease of use is a selling point, but its weak cleaning power made the overall rating somewhat disappointing.

A vital feature of this product is that both the hose and trigger gun are easy to handle. The hose has a pressure resistance of 124 bar, making removing any kinks easy. At just 0.93 lb., the trigger gun is lighter than others on the market, a surprising aspect given its appearance. It also has a handy meter that shows what the spray range you're currently using is suitable for.

The handle can be extended up to 32.28 inches, making it easy to move around when pulled. However, we were concerned about the lack of a place to hook up the power cord. Even if you hang the hose, you must hold the power cord in your arm. Carrying a 35-foot power cord can be a bit heavy and bothersome.

This model doesn't require nozzle changes; instead, you can adjust the water pressure by rotating the tip. However, even on the high-power setting, the cleaning strength feels lacking, likely needing multiple passes to tackle stubborn dirt. While it's easy to handle, the limited cleaning power ultimately affected its ranking.

Warning: Pressure Washers Can Cause Serious Injury if Misused. Use With Caution.

Pressure washers are handy products that can easily remove stubborn dirt, but their strength means that the force of the water when it hits a surface can be pretty powerful. There have been many recorded incidents of injuries caused by pressure washers, so it’s essential to use caution and follow the safety instructions when using them.

Always Enable the Trigger Safety When Not Using It, and Never Point It at People or Pets

The trigger gun of a pressure washer always comes with a safety lock. To prevent accidental discharges when not in use, make it a habit of locking it frequently. This can also reduce the risk of unforeseen accidents, such as a child unintentionally pulling the trigger when you're not looking.

Also, it's essential to protect yourself. During use, wearing long-sleeved clothing as much as possible is recommended to prevent exposing bare skin. Additionally, gloves and long boots should be used to protect areas where water can easily hit. Goggles are also effective in protecting your eyes.

Of course, it's not only humans but also animals that risk injury. Make sure to be cautious around people and pets that may approach during use.
